Carol Breglio

CFP®, MBA®, APMA®
WEALTH STRATEGIST

Carol Rogers Breglio, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and former partner at Intentional Wealth Strategies, a financial advisory firm aligned with Raymond James Financial Services. After 21 years of helping clients retire, Carol began transitioning into her own, “intentional retirement” in July 2020.

Before moving her practice to Raymond James in October 2017, Carol was a private wealth advisor and franchise owner with Ameriprise Financial for 18 years. Prior to Ameriprise, Carol was the Vice President Finance for Place Resources, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company after serving as Vice President Corporate Finance for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering and an MBA with a concentration in energy finance.

Active in the community, Carol serves as treasurer of CASA of the Pikes Peak Region and Chi Omega Alumnae of Colorado Springs and is the president of Intentional Wealth Strategies’ office condominium complex. She also mentors high school students at Mitchell High School, helping teenagers make sound financial decisions for their future. Carol is a past president of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Colorado and past treasurer of the Discovery Canyon Campus Boosters Club.

Having finished her first career in oil and gas corporate finance, Carol wanted to return to her roots working with individuals and families to make a difference in their financial lives. As a financial advisor, Carol found great satisfaction in providing meaningful advice to the clients she served.

Today, Carol lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Jim, son Tony and two huntin’ dogs Bustr and Kaci. Her older son, Dylan, is a freshman at CU Boulder. As Carol transitions into retirement she continues to enjoy skiing, hiking, camping and even an occasional game of golf.

Carol’s legacy of making intentional, (i.e. purposeful, deliberate, and thoughtful), decisions about financial planning and retirement remains the most important principle of our practice.
